Painted Desert in Las Vegas is a guard-gated community that offers scenic views of the expansive golf course. The golf course community is found just west of I-95 and South of Ann Road. About 25 minutes northwest of the famous Las Vegas Strip, there are plenty of things to see, do, and enjoy because of its easy access to various points of interest such as restaurants and retail stores. In addition to the easily accessible I-95 freeway, the 215 Beltway is only a couple of minutes away from this community. Since the community is near the Mount Charleston and Floyd Lamb State Park, among the favorite recreational activities of its homeowners include hiking, fishing, and snowboarding.
Painted Desert Homes
In addition to the outdoor activities and easy access to the Strip, Painted Desert is just across from the newly developing Centennial Center which was started with auto dealers but is now expanding to include shopping and restaurants such as On the Border for Mexican food and a newly opened BJ’s Brewhouse for good food and a sports bar.
One of the key features of Painted Desert real estate is the golf course designed by Jay Moorish and opened to the public in 1987. The community is also known for its beautifully manicured landscape. In 1990, more Painted Desert homes were developed around the golf course area. Today, there are more than 1,600 Painted Desert homes built in the gated community that covers 460 acres of land.
The master-planned community provides different housing facilities such as condos, villas, and single-family homes. Most single-family homes are equipped with four bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Aside from the golf course, Painted Desert real estate is also known for offering a sweeping view of the Spring Mountain Range. Painted Desert homeowners benefit from having a peaceful neighborhood and nearby golf course facilities. Still, the community has easy access to other establishments and recreational spots in the more dynamic scene of the Las Vegas Strip or greater Las Vegas area.
