One of the original guard-gated golf course communities in Las Vegas, homes in Spanish Trails date back to the mid-1980′s through the 1990′s. The grounds are beautifully maintained with mature trees and lots of green grass. West of the Strip on Tropicana, this is a convenient location for the Strip or the airport, with the amenities of Summerlin being only a short drive West of Spanish Trails.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. the golf course consists of three nine-hole courses, each offering a distinct type of play for all skill levels. In addition to the golf course, the community has a tennis center complete with 12 tennis courts, a fully stocked tennis shop and classes available.
Spanish Trails Las Vegas Homes
Homes in Spanish Trails range from 1800 square foot villas currently to custom built estates. The Estate homes are typically behind a second, mechnical gate in addition to the guard gate.
To the West of Spanish Trails on Tropicana, just past Durango, is the newer/smaller community of Spanish Hills. The community of Spanish Hills is not affiliated with Spanish Trails, however, they both are guard gated with beautifully landscaped grounds and are convenient to the Strip/airport. Spanish Hills doesn’t have the golf course or tennis courts of Spanish Trails, but for those who prefer a smaller (only 105 homes), and newer (earliest homes in community date back to the mid-’90s, with some built as recently as 2006)community, this place is perfect. As the name implies, many of the homes are elevated with Strip views.
